In my old age, I have come to believe that the true value of art lies in its content, not in the object. Art is about the emotions, the stories, and the messages it contains for the viewer. Also, real value can't be established or increased by imposing the exclusivity of limited editions, hand signing, or using unique, better materials. Art doesn't even have to be owned. Once seen, it is owned, it is received. The object is only a reminder, a symbol that returns one to the actual value: the content; once accepted, the object should become purposeless.

Purpose is Everything

That said, my Ditched Samaritan Images, my reminders, are available as prints on paper. They are not limited. They are not signed. (If that is important to you, mail them to me, and I will sign, date, and return them.)

The image's content is for all, not intended for just a select few. It is priced to be accessible to the largest audience and ultimately disposable when no longer useful to its owner.
